A Summary of Mayan Prayer Circle Sessions

Grandmother Flordemayo attunes to the collective energy of everyone present in preparation for these sessions, getting inspiration and guidance from Spirit for each specific time and location. Though there are themes for each day, Flordemayo remains open to Spirit’s guidance and what you and the other participants require at the moment.

Session 1: The Sacred Dawn on Friday, December 30

Grandmother Flordemayo will lead us in a Mayan-guided meditation of accessing the 13 holy centers for the sake of healing, blessing, and releasing the old in this session. This session is a tremendous opportunity to finish 2011 with energy clarity, paving the way for a successful 2012.

According to Grandmother Flordemayo’s tradition, today is a powerful day for ceremonial, incense burning, and representing the sound of the holy Quetzal Bird that launched the new dawn – the opportunity of life for this generation of creation.

This is an excellent day for asking the Spirits for forgiveness and blessings, as well as relinquishing connection to whatever mistakes we have made, consciously or subconsciously. This day also indicates sudden change in one’s life and the need for transformation in one’s destiny.

Session 2: Bringing in the Net

Grandmother Flordemayo will take our releasing even further in this session on the last day of 2011, teaching us the technique of releasing the entanglements of “the Net” through a holy bath for the Mother. We will learn how to make a holy bath with the objective of “cleaning ourselves in the elements as we rejoin with Mother Earth.”

“The Net” signifies the entanglement of issues on a personal and social level that become ensnared and held fast. This day commemorates the ability to unite in unity (internally and as a community of aware beings) to effect the things that we require. We anchor ourselves in the knowledge that our human entanglements are the result of our own provocations, and that destiny places us on our routes so that we can learn from and go beyond them.

Session 3: The Celestial Serpent, Sunday, January 1st

Grandmother Flordemayo will guide us in this session to connect with the divine fire within each of us, which she refers to as “The Golden Child within.” She will share her vision of the Golden Child with attendees as they enter this historic year, and she will conduct a deep meditation to strengthen your spiritual connection inside.

The energy from our internal fire that we have at the base of our spinal column is tied to our ascension and is the goal of all humans. It also signifies Mother Earth’s spiral motion, as well as the plumed snake and the movement of the Q’uq’kumatz.

Q’uq’kumatz is the universe’s Creator and Maker, and he is linked to human evolution and the blossoming of spirituality. The collective memory of mankind is the fire within the base of our spine, the life force, and the DNA where all genetic information is stored. The Mayan Grandfathers declared thousands of years ago that everything is in the shape of a spiral.
