DANIEL J. FOX, Ph.D., has spent the last 14 years treating and specializing in the therapy and evaluation of persons with personality disorders in state and federal prisons, institutions, and private practice. He is a Texas-licensed psychologist who has written multiple publications on personality, ethics, and neurofeedback. He is the author of The Clinician’s Guide to Personality Disorder Diagnosis and Treatment (PESI, 2013), Antisocial, Borderline, Narcissistic, and Histrionic Workbook (PESI, 2015), and Narcissistic Personality Disorder Toolbox (PESI, 2016). (PESI, 2018). Personality disorders, ethics, and emotional intelligence are among his areas of expertise.
Dr. Fox has spent the last 13 years teaching and supervising students at colleges around the country, including West Virginia University, Texas A&M University, the University of Houston, Sam Houston State University, and Florida State University. He works as a staff psychologist at the Federal Detention Center in Houston, Texas, as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Houston, and he has a private clinic that specializes in working with challenging individuals. Dr. Fox has delivered several workshops and seminars on a variety of topics, including ethics and personality disorders, personality disorders and crime, emotional intelligence, and managing mental health in the prison system.
