Participants in this session will learn the principles of Relational Recovery Counseling, a novel approach to couples therapy. The program follows the treatment phases: empowering the woman, connecting the man, relational “diagnostic,” prerequisites for intimacy, articulating a new vision of love, gaining relational skills, magnifying progress, and developing a relational subculture. This session will examine the technique of therapeutic truth telling in depth.

Objectives of Education:

To describe how to “install” new abilities in couples therapy on a proactive basis.
To describe three methods for changing abusive habits.
