This “playshop” will include activities in experiential clinician development. While it is commonly acknowledged that the therapist’s personality is critical to patient transformation, there are few ways for improving the therapist’s personality. Dr. Zeig will offer a systemic approach that may be simply translated to improve the experience power of treatment and supervision.

 

Objectives of Education:

Given a patient, employ an experience strategy to induce change.
To outline five experiential strategies from hypnosis that can be utilized to empower therapy.

Jeffrey K. Zeig, PhD, is the founder and director of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation, as well as the president of Zeig, Tucker & Theisen, Inc., a behavioral sciences publisher.

He has edited, co-edited, produced, or coauthored more than 20 works on psychotherapy, which have been published in twelve different languages. Dr. Zeig is a private practice psychologist and marital and family therapist in Phoenix, Arizona.
