Peter Schultz is the President of Cashflow Heaven Publishing and the editor of The Winning Secret.
Peter has been teaching self-directed investors how to trade successfully since 1996, and he is the author of Passage to Freedom, The Options Success Trading Package, The Winning Secret Trading Package, The Explosive Profits Package, and The Greatest Options Strategies on Earth. He has also produced numerous key short reports on revolutionary options approaches and is a frequent guest on trading and financial markets radio and television discussion shows.
Fascinated by the concept of asset-produced monthly income, Peter started Cashflow Heaven Publishing in 1999 to assist his subscribers in achieving a better lifestyle through trading and investing tactics that provide extraordinary monthly returns.
Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with marketing and finance emphasis from Southern Oregon University in 1982. He is happily married and has three children, and he lives in Ashland, Oregon. “somewhere north of Siskiyou Pass on the eastern sides of Bear Creek.”
What We’re About at Cashflow Heaven
Hello, my name is Peter Schultz, and we need to go back a few years to understand why I started this company—and why you might be interested in our programs.
When I graduated from high school in the mid-1970s, Alaska, where I grew up, was experiencing a massive oil boom. I had numerous friends who were making good money as construction surveyors in the oil fields, and I wanted to follow in their footsteps.
So I joined the Union and continued to go to the hall seeking for a job until one came available that none of the more experienced people wanted. I was ecstatic and was immediately deployed to the isolated island of Adak, well out on the point of the Aleutian Chain, where every storm that has ever battered the west coast of the United States starts.
To give you an idea, this message is painted in large two-foot-high letters across the wall inside Adak’s airport: “When I die, I don’t have to worry about going to hell since I’ve already done my time in Adak.”
Not the most comforting sight for a young 19-year-old stepping off the plane.
After that experience, I quickly obtained another assignment up on Alaska’s North Slope—way up on the Arctic Ocean—in the middle of winter. It was virtually always dark, but it did turn darker around midday, and then it was pitch black again, and so cold your eyes would freeze shut in the biting wind.
I’d lay all my cold weather stuff on top of my blankets at night to attempt to remain warm while sleeping on my metal cot – and, of course, like everyone else, thoughts would race through my mind before falling asleep.
The most often repeated topic was, “Is this the end? Is this what it means to work? Is this what I have in store for the next 30 or 40 years? Hard physical labor in the dark and cold under drunken supervisors who yelled filthy obscenities in your face through rotten teeth as they slowly went insane?”
Naturally, my mental state deteriorated as I began to think like a life-sentenced prisoner—I became preoccupied with fantasies of escape. Only my jail didn’t have iron bars or stone walls; it was totally made up of the constant and apparently overwhelming urge to generate money.
And it was at this point that the main concept that drives this business began to take root: “Is there a way to make my money work hard enough so that I don’t have to? Could I potentially sustain myself if I discovered a decent enough investment vehicle?”
Even back then, I knew that this investment cashflow didn’t have to completely replace my job income—it could be built up over time. And the more wealth I was able to accumulate—and the better I became at investing—the more of my working income I was able to replace until one day.
I may be liberated.
That concept evolved into an obsession. I bought real estate, got into the commodities market when silver was skyrocketing in the early 1980s, researched interest rates, learned about stock trading, read books on fundamental analysis, chart reading, and pattern recognition—and then found options in the mid-1990s.
After a few early victories, I became so engrossed with options trading that by 1997, I was working as an instructor for a big financial publishing business, conducting live seminars in two locations each week across the United States. And when that firm began to flounder, I founded my own in 1999–the one you’re looking at right now.
