These presentations were given at our 2020 Solo & Small Firm Virtual Conference on August 19-21.
How far may a lawyer go while discussing a case online? How did you get yourself disbarred? Attorneys are required to “Google” prospective jurors. To what extent should social media use be addressed in attorney-client agreements? To what extent may you remove items without compromising proof? In this lighthearted overview course, you’ll learn how bar disciplinary counsel in different states governs lawyers’ use of social media and see real-world examples of how lawyers (and their clients) have shot themselves in the foot by engaging in inappropriate behavior online.
LawPay’s Director of Education Claude Ducloux will be giving the talk.
