This DVD is the third installment in the “Yoshinkan Encyclopedia” series, with the only requirement that all techniques be shown and explained by the Japanese master, holder of 8th dan Aikido Yoshinkan, Chief Instructor of the Ryu Dojo Ando Tsuneo.
Tsuneo Ando was born in the city of Nihama on the island of Shikoku in 1956. He first became familiar with Aikido at Tokushima University, and after graduating from Ando Sensei, he became the proprietor of the 2nd Dan Aikido Aikikai. Ando was inspired by Gozo Shioda’s great style and joined Aikido Yoshinkan as an uchi-deshi in 1981, till Kanche Shioda died. Tsuneo Ando established the Aikido Association in Urayasu City in 1990, the only one in the world to collaborate so closely with Aikido Aikikai. Ando Shihan was promoted to 6th dan in 1993.
