Amy Foxx-Orenstein, DO, MACG, FACP is a medical professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. She began working as a Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona in 2010. Dr. Foxx-Orenstein earned her DO from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at Iowa State University in Des Moines. Her fellowships at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, including Gastroenterology, Nutrition, and a Pancreatic-Biliary fellowship. Dr. Foxx-Orenstein has written over 60 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the editorial and review boards of several international and national journals. Her specialties include gastrointestinal disorders, constipation, obesity, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Foxx-Orenstein has no financial interests.
