Andy Krieger was born in North Carolina and reared in San Francisco, but has lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the most of his life. That’s why he talks with an American accent, which serves as the foundation of his K- Method accent reduction procedure.
He joined the Peace Corps after graduating from Stanford University and spent two years teaching in Ethiopia. Andy earned his teaching degree in British Columbia and taught elementary and high school children on the lower mainland for ten years.
He has also worked as an extra-casting director for Warner Bros. and Central Casting in Los Angeles, hiring extras for CHEERS, M.A.S.H., PRETTY WOMAN, ROCKY IV, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, and a slew of other films, TV series, and commercials.
A U.S. film producer requested him to coach several Canadian actors with their speaking methods in 1997, when he was working for the local actors union. That’s how he came up with the K Method language delivery method, which teaches pupils how to pronounce each word without an accent by teaching them the proper tongue and lip postures.
Andy has a solid reputation as a teacher that helps pupils feel at ease and confident in the learning process. He has successfully taught over 7,000 pupils in North America and across the world. Learn more about their experiences.
“This is the finest language lesson I’ve ever taken. We’d love to see a sequel.”
– Billy from Hong Kong

– Simon from Guangzhou
“I am highly pleased by your patience, passion, and, most importantly, your lovely American accent. I really enjoyed it since you gave me such an important lesson. And I learned from you that when speaking, one should speak as slowly as possible so that he or she has enough time to think and put his or her tongue in the proper position to pronounce correctly, and that one should say 2 to 3 words at a time with the help of one hand so that he or she can get a proper rhythm.”
– Neo from Beijing
“Andy is a great teacher, particularly in English accent reduction. He has been quite beneficial to me. He can assist in spotting errors and blunders that subcontinental people make when speaking English words.”
– Dr. Jahangir, an Indo-Canadian physician
“You are a true professional and a true genius at your job. I honestly couldn’t think I’d leave the lesson with no accent, and who better to judge than my own children? Mom sounded ‘just like them,’ much to their pleasure!”
– Nixie from Canada
“Thank you so much, Andy! I’d want to express how amazed and satisfied I was with your accent reduction lesson. I wholeheartedly suggest the K method lesson to anyone who wishes to reduce their own accent.”
Sue Han is a Korean student.
“I wanted to thank you for your assistance and encouragement while I worked on my American accent this year, transitioning from my original British. Your lessons were quite beneficial to me, not only because they provided me with practical tools for approaching an American text, but also because they gave me the courage to get out there and test it in the field.”
– Actor Peter Wingfield
“The DVDs and book are quite valuable. I can easily see that I can modify the way I communicate, and I intend to work on it. Thank you one again.”
– Irina from Canada

– Hong Kong’s CY Lau
“I truly like your DVD! Every day, even if just for 15 minutes, I attempt to observe and mimic your manner of speaking. I hope my English continues to improve! Your manner of speaking and instructing greatly pleased me and aided in my learning.”
Japan’s Keiko Hasuo
“Andy I know there’s a long way to go, and like you mentioned, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk, but I’m extremely happy since your technique produced results, giving me faith that this time I’ll be able to fulfill my ambition of speaking English without a foreign accent.”
– Miguel from Toronto
