Between 1975 and 1979, Stephen Lankton, MSW, DAHB, studied under Milton H. Erickson, M.D., and his subsequent efforts to promote and interpret Erickson’s approach to hypnosis and therapy at the highest academic levels led to the inclusion of chapters written by Lankton in several scholarly publications edited by other luminaries in the field. Lankton is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. He also travels the world giving courses (24 countries).
