Professor Jack Kornfield, Ph.D. 12 related lectures and products
Jack Kornfield spent time as a Buddhist monk in Thailand, India, and Burma. He has been teaching meditation abroad since 1974 and is credited with introducing Buddhist mindfulness practice to the West. Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and the Spirit Rock Center in Woodacre, California, he co-founded. Jack has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and has taught Eastern and Western psychology at various institutions and colleges across the world. He is a parent, a husband, and a political activist.
His works have been translated into 22 languages and have sold over a million copies worldwide. A Wise Heart: A Guide to the Universal Teachings of Buddhist Psychology, A Path with Heart, After the Ecstasy, the Laundry, and No Time Like the Present are among his books.
