This presentation will illustrate how to use Generative Change principles to transform and integrate symptoms that arise as interference or resistance. Obstacles and resistances can be converted into a more resourceful expression and brought into line with therapeutic aims by integrating somatic modeling with the three positive connections of a generative state.
Objectives of Education:
Describe the three positive linkages that are required to create a generative state.
Exhibit how to elicit somatic representations of goals and symptoms.
Demonstrate how to change the somatic model of the symptom into a more productive and helpful manifestation by utilizing the three positive connections of the generative state.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*

Since its inception in 1975 by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, Robert Dilts has been a creator, author, teacher, and consultant in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a model of human behavior, learning, and communication. Robert was a long-time student and collaborator of Grinder and Bandler, and he also studied with Milton H. Erickson, M.D., and Gregory Bateson.
