This Keynote presentation provides a historical perspective on how Milton Erickson’s ideas on hypnosis changed over the course of his life. Roxanna outlines alterations in style, focus, and emphasis by evaluating publications from his early works in the 1920s over the next half century. Using this framework, participants may obtain a greater understanding of Erickson’s theories as we self-reflect on the professional development process and our personal progress.
