What are the various effects of divorce on children? This course will look at the thoughts, feelings, behavior, issues, worries, and needs of children ranging in age from birth to 50 years old, within the context of the divorce process and for years following. As effective treatments are examined, lectures, discussions, clinical examples, and role plays will be intermingled.
Objectives of Education:
To describe the need of raising knowledge about the diverse effects of divorce on children.
To discuss three successful short therapy approaches for divorced children.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
