DescriptionDescription:
This course delves into the complexities of love and desire—how they interact and clash. Participants will discover how emotional connection can stifle sexual desire and why “good intimacy” does not always equate to “excellent sex.” We’ll look at how our emotional past, or “how we were loved,” affects our sexual blueprints and manifests itself in the physicality of sex, or “how we make love,” using case studies and video vignettes. We’ll demonstrate how to break through erotic impasses and assist couples in balancing their twin desires for protection and independence. This concept is applicable to all sexual orientations of couples and people.
Objectives of Education:
Describe three ways in which our emotional histories influence our erotic blueprints.
Explain three methods that help couples overcome Erotic Blocks and nurture eroticism.
Explain three reasons why more closeness might lead to less sex.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
