This is a fast-paced, proven effective course on how professionals may support patients and clients by incorporating current adult development research/best practices in meaningful work/self-renewal, as well as practical implementation suggestions. This workshop will emphasize the significance of 1) creating a life’s purpose, 2) optimism, 3) a circle of friends, 4) handling loss and letting go, and 5) letting go while connecting the dots on some of the most relevant medical and longevity studies.

Objectives of Education:

Demonstrate how to help patients/clients of any age continue their desire for lifetime learning by creating an environment for change and modeling lifelong learning.
Understand the stages of adult development and self-renewal as resources for creating greater life passion and purpose.
Using Aging and Medical Science research and best practices to meet the future programming of a rising group of lifelong learners who are young seniors or older individuals.
