Nonverbal/paraverbal contextual components comprise communication; words only communicate a portion of the message. We will investigate how the successful use of prosody, closeness, gesture, expression, and context may be weaved into the communication process to generate dramatic moments that empower effective clinical results.
Objectives of Education:
Define the term “microdynamic” gift wrapping.
Describe two ways that microdynamic approaches improve therapeutic effect.
Indicate how to utilize motions and noises to improve effect when given a patient.
Define “utilization” and explain how it works.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
