DescriptionDescription:
From community and psycho-social perspectives, we will investigate the key themes, aspects, and conceptualizations of resilience. We will examine how to mobilize resiliency within the context of time-limited soul care, as well as how to leverage on the dynamic interplay between traditions, norms, values, and heritages in order to advance healthy coping skills and flourishing capacities. We shall argue that resilience is more than just an intrapsychic potential or an individualistic strategy; it is also a communal resource and a collective faculty that is abundantly stored in the community. As a result, resilience is clearly influenced by culture, shared identity, and generational knowledge.
Objectives of Education:
Contrast simple definitions of resilience with more complicated concepts.
Discuss three significant barriers to the study of resilience and list some social underpinnings and cultural mediators of resiliency.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
