Contemporary Gestalt therapy is a strong, process-oriented, and theoretically sound methodology based on Applied Dialogic Existential Phenomenology. Fritz Perls (1969) recruited Bob Resnick, who had been taught and personally certified by Perls, to introduce Gestalt Therapy to Europe. Theoretical and practical demonstrations Comments, questions, and conversations are all welcome, as is a sense of humor.

Objectives of Education:

Show that you grasp the distinctions between content and method.
Describe Gestalt Therapy as it is now, not as a distorted recollection from the 1960s.
Explain the relationship between field theory, phenomenology, and conversation.

ROBERT W. RESNICK, PHD, Clinical Psychologist (and former New York City Taxi driver) has been a Gestalt Therapist and Couples Therapist for over 50 years, as well as a worldwide trainer for over 45 years. Drs. trained him (1965-1970) and personally tested and certified him (1969). Jim Simkin and Fritz Perls. Perls picked him to bring Gestalt Therapy to Europe in 1969. For the past 45 years, he has been training throughout Europe numerous times each year, in addition to continuous training programs in Los Angeles and Seattle. Bob has a friendly and engaging personality, and he speaks clearly and humorously.
