This brief workshop will focus on the quick healing of trauma via the use of Somatic Experiencing, Ericksonian Hypnosis, and Mindfulness methods for accessing the unconscious and activating inner resources through SE, mindfulness, and trance.

 

Objectives of Education:

In the therapy of trauma, pain, and somatic illnesses, use fast and brief resource state skills.
Make use of Ericksonian trance work and mindfulness meditation to shift trauma and promote mind-body healing.
Watch instances of quick trance inductions that illustrate Erickson’s use of metaphor to induce instantaneous alterations in trauma recovery.
Use Somatic Experiencing activities to access one’s fundamental resources, provide grounding and orienting skills for containment, and promote mind-body coherency.
Show how to use Ericksonian, mindfulness, and somatic experience approaches to track the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems for containment, pendulation, trauma release, and coherency promotion.
