Love is no longer an enigma. Attachment Theory and research provide a systematic knowledge of the emotional drama of relationship suffering, as well as a compass in the defining movements and moments of love, to couple therapists. We may now assist couples mend their relationships and establish relationships that heal with such a guide.

Dr. Sue Johnson is an author, clinical psychologist, researcher, lecturer, renowned presenter and speaker, and a pioneer in the field of adult attachment and relationship therapy. Sue is the primary originator of Emotionally Focused Couples and Family Therapy (EFT), which has been shown to be beneficial in peer-reviewed clinical studies for over 30 years.
Sue Johnson is the founding Director of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Distinguished Research Professor at Alliant University in San Diego, California, and Professor Emeritus, Clinical Psychology, at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
