Effects of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder on Personal Relationships: Dr. Dan Amen’s CC17 Keynote Address

Oftentimes, untreated ADHD is a contributing factor in marital discord that goes overlooked. Dr. Amen will examine the good and negative effects that ADHD may have on interpersonal interactions. He will also give a brief summary of the seven subtypes of ADHD he has identified via his clinical and brain imaging research, and talk about strategies for working with couples in whom one or both partners suffer from the disorder.

Dr. Daniel Amen has written 10 books that have all been New York Times bestsellers. He established the Amen Clinics in Costa Mesa and San Francisco, California; Bellevue, Washington; Reston, Virginia; Atlanta, Georgia; and New York City, where he serves as chief executive officer.
