DescriptionDescription:
How can one become proficient in the profession of psychotherapy? Should theory, technique, or research be prioritized in training? What about the clinician’s personal development? We will discover seven key “postures” through a series of progressive Psychoaerobics activities. Participants will engage in development games and group hypnosis to investigate the blending of discipline and spontaneity seen in the most artistic and effective clinical treatment. The training is designed to sharpen the therapist’s lenses (perception), muscles (therapeutic strength), heart (compassion), and hat (social role).
Educational Objectives:
List three therapist postures that Erickson excelled in developing.
Describe how to apply a Psychoaerobic workout in a given scenario.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
