Dan Short, Ph.D., is well-known internationally for his work in Ericksonian hypnosis and short-term therapy. He devotes the majority of his time to a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as writing and teaching to professional audiences all over the world. He received a Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 1993, followed by a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an internship at an APA recognized program in Houston, Texas.
