Erickson Congress 2011 | Erickson Congress 2011 Duration: 59 Minutes
Audio-Only Format
Date of the original program: December 7, 2011 DescriptionDescription:
One of the most frequent gastrointestinal ailments is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). This lecture offers an interdisciplinary approach to treating major IBS-patient difficulties. We understand that clients with a high level of dysfunctional symptoms have many expectations and requirements, as well as multiple stress sources, anxiety, and despair. How can you improve your quality of life? The significance of focusing on the unseen, emotive component of IBS issues is complicated. While setting realistic goals, a new approach leads to body self-regulation through various bodywork techniques and hypnotherapeutic strategies—all aimed at completing the vasomotoric stress circle (Gerda Boyesen model) and the unfinished stress cycle (Peter Levine), which are directed at specific physical, emotional, and energetic aspects. Efficacy through therapeutic intervention: In the “healing” process, hypnosis and massage, breathing exercises and energy movement are integrated.
Objectives of Education:
Improve your grasp of the IBS phenomenon, including its physical and psychological elements, as well as the usefulness of psychotherapy therapies, including hypnotherapy.
The significance of creativity in the process of developing self-confidence, the value of discovering and utilizing clients’ resources, and the significance of building new ways of self-management and self-regulation in coping with IBS.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
