Carol Kershaw, EdD, Professor Seminars and associated materials: 17
Carol Kershaw, Ed.D., is a registered psychologist in private practice and the Co-Director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Houston. She is an AAMFT-approved supervisor, a member of the American Psychological Association, and a consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
She is also a member of the International Society of Hypnosis. She is the author of The Couple’s Hypnotic Dance and has published several articles on the use of hypnosis for diabetes, asthma in children, trauma healing, and weight loss. She has been asked to contribute to Family Therapy Magazine. Dr. Kershaw has presented workshops and speeches at several Erickson Congresses, ASCH annual scientific meetings, Evolution of Psychotherapy conferences, and AAMFT conferences, as well as seminars in Canada, South America, and Europe. She was also asked to lead a trauma intervention medical team in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Kershaw has worked with the Houston Ballet, the Westminster Abbey and York Minster in England, the Thomas Kirsche in Germany, and the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

Bill Wade, PhD is a psychotherapist and the Co-Director of the Milton Erickson Institute of Houston at the Institute for Family Psychology in Houston, Texas. In Texas, he works as a marriage and family therapist as well as a professional counselor. Bill has oversight control over both licenses. He received his Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Religion from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Bill is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and an approved supervisor, as well as a member and approved consultant of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is a member of the International Society of Hypnosis as well as the American Counseling Association. Bill has lectured extensively around the United States on Clinical Hypnosis, Meditation, Overcoming Anxiety and Depression, Panic Disorder, Relationship Enhancement, Divorce Recovery, Parenting, and Peak Performance. He has produced many audio CDs on this and other topics, and he formerly served as the review editor for the Milton Erickson Foundation Newsletter.
