This curriculum is intended to assist the novice and intermediate practitioner in developing and establishing the claimant’s credibility via the use of prehearing and posthearing briefs that set out medical and vocational evidence backed by exhibits and your client’s testimony. Assisting your clients in understanding their medical issues and giving them with a vocabulary to communicate their symptoms to medical professionals aids in obtaining better medical documentation and testimony at the hearing. It also fosters a good working connection with the customer. The course will also cover comparable approaches for presenting vocational testimony. The pre and post hearing papers will lay a solid basis for trust with the ALJ by addressing the issues raised in the evidence.
