Stressful thinking has a bad influence on health, according to current practitioners and research. The speakers will provide data that identifies the following gap: Stress, according to modern practitioners and patients, is caused by external situations. Presenters will present proof that stress is determined by the internal thinking/feeling and processing of the particular patient. When individuals recognize that their thoughts are originating from them rather than from external stresses, they discover an instant opportunity for stress alleviation and healing.
DAY 1: THE BRAIN-BODY CONNECTION: WHY IS MIND UNDERSTANDING VITAL TO OUR HEALTH?
Bill, a psychiatrist and educator, has a talent for making the medical sciences understandable and demonstrating how past and present research invariably aligns with the logic of the Three Principles. Bill is board-certified in general, adolescent, and geriatric psychiatry, as well as addiction medicine and psychosomatic medicine. During this event, Bill will integrate personal experiences, over 50 years of clinical experience, and a wealth of medical knowledge into a practical understanding of the Three Principles’ healing nature.
The Issue
Bill will show how chronic mental stress, (e.g., guilt, resentment, unresolved grief, feeling driven, worry, over-analysis, investment in what others think about us, and frustration related to the inability to control others’ behavior) leads to the chronic activation of the body’s emergency stress response. This reaction is intended to be activated for up to 30 minutes to help us survive life-threatening events.
When this response is extended, it causes significant hormonal alterations, a severe inflammatory reaction, and a reallocation of internal resources, such as the immune system, away from their normal job of maintaining development, health, and optimal functioning.
The body warns us to chronic stress response activation through escalating internal sentiments of ill-health and physical symptoms. If these symptoms are not recognized as valuable warning signs, more increasing bodily deregulation and “disease” (i.e., a louder alarm) frequently develop.
The Answer
A growing understanding of Mind, the formless energy that powers our brain, is both preventive (like a vaccination) and therapeutic. Being conscious of this knowledge results in a softer, more happy, more loving, and more present interior experience of life. This results in improved emotional, psychological, and physical wellness. This health is progressively independent of traumatic experiences in the past, current obstacles, and future uncertainties.

Linda, a counseling psychologist, educator, and writer, has a kind, matter-of-fact manner in which she makes the spiritual element of the Three Principles approachable and practical. The answer is yes. Among the master’s and doctorate courses she has taught are psychological theory, ethics, research, counseling skills, group facilitation, lifespan psychology, learning and memory, psychopharmacology, diagnostics, case conceptualization, and neuroscience for therapists. Linda will be in charge of the day, with Bill assisting.
“Love is more than a concept. “Love is a live, breathing energy that the wise may pluck from the air at will and then sculpt into something beautiful like a master artist.”
Second Chance, Syd Banks, p. 115
For Native Americans, a medicine is a mystical spiritual presence and force that might appear in a person, a location, nature, or a phenomena. Medicine is another term for Wisdom, the spiritual intelligence at the heart of existence that always guides us. When something is “mystical” it is points to “belief in the presence of realities beyond perceptual or intellectual experience but intrinsic to being and immediately accessible through intuition.” (From the American Heritage Dictionary of English)
Most of us are unaware that we may go to our Minds for answers on how to live healthy, happy, and productive lives, regardless of our age or circumstances. Life may be softer when we know where to turn for solutions. When we realize Wisdom, the mundane may become wonderful, beautiful, significant, and sacred.
When life throws a challenge, hardship, or suffering at you, Medicine for getting through it and recovering from it is especially available. In such situations, our initial impulse is to hunt for explanations in our memories. However, the brain’s resources are finite. When the futility of trying to figure things out becomes clear, surrender, or quieting, might occur. The barrier between the physical and the spiritual thins in this peaceful condition, making it easier to recognize knowledge.
During this lecture, Linda, accompanied by Bill, will utilize personal and professional tales to highlight how wisdom comes itself in the all-ness of life. She will discuss how the Three Principles integrate and explain our knowledge of mystical concepts like as wisdom, intuition, and synchronicity, giving clear logic to what many disciplines see as unscientific and unsuitable for discussion. Linda sees mystical consciousness as completely practical and everyday. It is the food of the wise.
Linda typically speaks about Medicine as “excellent”, “better” or “best.” Books, teachers, medications, and any other external healing agent can provide good medicine. Knowing how to work with energy in the body leads to better medicine. The finest treatment is discovered inside, via direct encounters with Divine Wisdom. Join Linda in a dialogue, at once practical and spiritual, about the Medicine inside that is continually directing us toward love and understanding, health and healing.
