DescriptionA lack of self-compassion is at the root of practically every presenting problem, from depression and anxiety to addiction and trauma. When treatment is effective, the caring attitude of the therapist appears to rub off on the client. Fortunately, self-compassion activities may be taught and done outside of therapy sessions, making the therapeutic connection more portable. This audio will demonstrate how to implement Carl Roger’s adage “I can change when I accept myself exactly as I am.”
