We spent over 120 hours recording Australia’s best string players in a world-class scoring stage, utilizing a unique mix of microphones to capture each instrument’s particular character and charm. The end result is a magnificent collection of playable, realistic solo strings that stands out on its own or as a great compliment to Cinematic Studio Strings.

SOLO, QUARTET, OR FIRST CHAIR VIRTUOSO

Cinematic Studio Solo Strings puts all the emotional depth and virtuosity of a great quartet at your disposal, making it the ideal compositional instrument for exposed lyrical solo or quartet parts. CSSS is a vivid first-chair accompaniment to our complete section collection Cinematic Studio Strings because we maintained positional correctness and captured the same varied range of articulations. This lets you to switch between composing for solo strings and large sections with ease.

GUI THAT IS INTUITIVE AND EASY TO USE

The interface is clean and efficient, with a small number of patches that make it quick and simple to learn. The arrangement is functionally identical to that of Cinematic Studio Strings, so you may double the solo instrument patches with their section equivalents (for example, Solo Violin I with 1st Violins) and play both on the same MIDI channel at the same time.
