8th degree black belt Christopher Petrilli was trained in the Philippines by Filipino legend Grandmaster Ciriaco Cacoy Canete himself, and has distilled his knowledge of Japanese aikido, Indonesian silat, and Filipino Doce Pares eskrima into an elevated system of stick fighting that goes far beyond anything previously captured on video.

Master Petrilli teaches you how to shift from largo mano range to the close-in fighting that typifies Doce Pares eskrima in Volume 1 of this unparalleled Paladin video series. From there, he moves into sinawali patterns, which demonstrate how to hit and weaken your opponent before pulling him into the locking and throwing lines that will finish him off.

Volume 2 offers many lines that will let you to disarm your opponent explosively and simply manipulate him into the arm bar position. Then, demonstrating that whatever you can do with the stick end can be done with the punyo, Petrilli demonstrates how to do the devastating locks, throws, and chokes previously acquired with only a few inches of stick.

Volume 3 concludes with numerous additional locking and throwing lines that travel from over the arm to under the arm. Finally, he removes the stick, instructing you on how to do the same severe tactics without it.

Christopher Petrilli, a former US Army Ranger, has an 8th degree black belt in Doce Pares eskrima from Grandmaster Cacoy Canete. He also specializes in Indonesian pentjak silat and Japanese aikido.
