DescriptionDr. Siegel will guide you through an investigation of the mind, what it means to be aware, and how to foster presence and mindfulness in the therapeutic relationship. Dr. Siegel will present a thorough knowledge of the nature of the mind through an interpersonal neurobiology and mindsight perspective in this session, which will serve as a basis for future exploration of mindfulness, attention, intention, and consciousness. Dr. Siegel will show you how to incorporate mindfulness into the professional context, from idea to treatment planning to intervention.
While becoming a more aware therapist assists your clients’ recovery path, it also benefits your own. Dr. Siegel discusses how being more conscious and learning to be present might help to prevent treatment fatigue. This improves the lives of both you and your customers by promoting love and compassion in the body, mind, and relationships.
Daniel J. Siegel, M.D. is the world’s foremost expert in interpersonal neurobiology. His work is transforming our knowledge of the brain and increasing psychotherapy outcomes. Mindsight is the result of his years of research and therapeutic practice in mindfulness, neuroscience, and attachment. Emotional Intelligence author Daniel Goleman, Ph.D., links Mindsight’s potential to Darwin’s theory of evolution and Freud’s idea of the unconscious. This class is a must-attend if you want to improve your career as a therapist and live a more rewarding life!
