David was frequently asked questions regarding cannabis usage while working with the chronically sick, prompting him to conduct extensive study on the issue in order to better understand the effects of cannabis use on his patients and give them with better information and answers.
Since 2017, he has trained thousands of healthcare and mental health professionals across the country about cannabis so that they, too, can better understand the effects of cannabis use on their patients’ mental and physical health, as well as stay current on legal and ethical issues that may affect their work. David has also been asked to speak at the Addiction Studies Institute at Ohio State University, the biggest Midwest addiction studies conference.
David has been a psychotherapist since 2009 and is well-versed in evaluation and level of care assessment. The University of New England awarded him a Master of Social Work degree.
