It’s story time! Nobody knew who I was only a few years ago (well, my mom and dogs did but that was pretty much it). I wasn’t marked on the map. By the way, my name is David Siteman Garland. People were not rushing to my door to buy from me.

The media couldn’t care less about what I had to say. I lacked any business ties. No well-known bloggers knew who I was. My business reputation (both online and offline) was almost non-existent. I used to have a Twitter account with four followers (um maybe 3). And I had a huge marketing budget of almost nothing. Yes, 0 bucks. Sigh.
