Regarding the Actor
Dr. David Nowell is a clinical neuropsychologist with vast expertise in diagnostic evaluation who performs hundreds of interviews each year. Dr. Nowell conducted risk assessments in the ER, as well as in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The program focuses on emergency professionals’ unique clinical views, as well as the concerns and requirements of residential staff and mental health specialists. Dr. Nowell maintains a private practice while also consulting with patients in rehabilitation and mental hospitals. His research interests include clinical interview cultural competency and the influence of traumatic brain damage on social and vocational functioning.
Dr. Nowell received his PhD from the University of Alabama and interned in neuropsychology at Tulane University Medical Center.
