The First Lesson – Getting Up
Lucy begins her day by waking up early! In this episode, you will learn the English terminology for goods found in a bedroom, such as pillows, mattresses, sheets, comforters, pillowcases, and nightstands. You’ll also see Lucy put on her robe and go through her morning ritual of making her bed and getting ready for the day.
Lesson 2 – Cleaning Up
Lucy enters the bathroom and begins cleaning up after she wakes up. Learn English terminology for bathroom goods such as the tub, toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, hairdryer, tampon, and more. Lucy brushes and flosses her teeth before taking a quick shower. In this episode, you’ll also learn how to talk about applying makeup, such as blush, lipstick, mascara, eye shadow, and more.
Making Breakfast (Lesson 3)
Are you hungry? Lucy is, so she enters the kitchen to prepare her breakfast. Learn how to utilize kitchen terms like fridge, frying pan, oil, burner, cooktop, toaster, spatula, and more. In this episode, you’ll also learn about basic breakfast products including cereal, toast, and eggs. It’s time to wash and dry the dishes after Lucy finishes breakfast.
Lesson 4 – Hairstyles
Lucy, like most women, does her hair and makeup every morning. Learn the English words for getting your hair ready, such as gel, volume, bangs, brush, and hairspray. Lucy returns to her bedroom to dress after she has done her hair. What is she going to wear today? Learn to utilize popular terminology like skirt, blouse, closet, casual, suit, pantyhose, heels, and more.
Lesson 5 – Starting Work
Instead of driving, Lucy takes the train and a bus to work. Follow her on the train to learn terms like swipe, pass, turnstile, platform, express, handrail, stop, and transfer. You’ll learn terminology like get off, exit, on board, route, draws up to, block, and more after she gets on the bus.
