We center in as we slow down. We grow more in tune with our bodies, minds, and spirits. When we apply intention to our practice, we may access deeper awareness and proprioception, and the movement becomes meditation. Moving slowly changes the way we use strength and control, adding a new degree of difficulty to the activity. It becomes less about repetition and muscle and more about concentration, stability, and determination. It adds a new level of effort, and the process fosters progress. When we connect to slow, concentrated movements with clear and beautiful goals, not only does our physical practice get stronger, but our lives become more meaningful as well. We learn to embody service, harmony, and appreciation in order to better serve others, our community, and the globe. The five Vinyasa flows in this series will test and improve these abilities while also focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and control. Each 60-75 minute session will motivate you to express new levels of your mental and physical practice with clear and deliberate aims such as development, humility, and service. Modifications for various levels are provided, as well as possibilities for inversions and arm balances. Dylan is accompanied by two yogis in each session to assist you follow along regardless of your level of ability. All courses end with a relaxing savasana that includes live RAV Vast music performed by Dylan.
