Evelyn Shapero graduated from Antioch University with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Her neurofeedback career began as a clinicin at Sue and Siegfried Othmer’s neurofeedback office, where she worked largely with Alpha/theta. Evelyn now works in private practice in West Los Angeles with both children and adults. Grierson, Caroline: Caroline Grierson, a California-licensed Registered Nurse, graduated from Vancouver General Hospital in 1964 and the University of Western Ontario in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Administration. She was the Head Nurse and Clinical Coordinator of the first Coronary Care Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles during the first five years of her professional career, where she also helped to create the post-graduate coronary care nurse training program. During that period, she was Chairman of the CPR Committee and Editor of the CCU Newsletter for the Los Angeles Country Heart Association, and she taught CPR skills to paramedics and dentists (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation). She was also Publicity Chairman for the newly created Critical Care Nurses Association. She lectured at the USC Post Graduate Division and the Institute of Continuing Education for Nurses while raising her girls, and she worked as a HealthCare Coordinator at the Bresler Center for Pain Management and a Teaching Associate with the Academy for Guided Imagery. Caroline studied biofeedback at the Biofeedback Institute of Los Angeles in 1988 and neurofeedback with Sue and Siegfried Othmer at EEG Spectrum in Encino in 1993. She is a Senior Fellow in Biofeedback and a Fellow in Neurofeedback and is BCIA Certified (Biofeedback Certification Institute of America). She is also BCIA Certified in Stress Management and an American Association of Pain Management Clinical Associate. Caroline has been conducting Biofeedback and Neurofeedback in her own business, Train Your Brain, since 1991 and has been a part of a Comprehensive Pain Management Program with Dr Joshua Prager since 2000. She works with adolescents who are experiencing chronic pain, stress and anxiety problems, attention impairments, hypertension, cancer, and incontinence.
