As a road cyclist, I need to have adequate core strength and hip flexion to sit comfortably and easily on my bike for hours at a time. Prior to training with Eishens Yoga, I regularly experienced low back and neck ache after riding my bike, despite the fact that it was a custom fit. If I wanted to go low on my bike, I had to lean forward since my hips were stiff (and didn’t allow me adequate flexion). Through my training with High Energy Yoga, I was able to balance my hips and increase my hip flexion, allowing me to sit with my spine extended even in a low tucked posture.
