MO.CHEE is Japanese for “feeling.”

This entertaining 90-minute session is meant for professionals who want to learn how to customise social-emotional learning tools on the Kimochis® social-emotional program for their work location and needs. The Kimochis® characters and feelings lessons will be described in detail to show how to assist youngsters learn to understand and manage their emotions, comprehend the emotions of others, and create and maintain good social connections.

You will also learn about the Kimochis® Keys to Communication.

These Keys assist youngsters in listening, speaking, and acting in ways that encourage healthy conduct and social relationships.

You will feel prepared to present the Kimochis® program in social skills groups, therapeutic settings, and/or as a safe, strong, and mutually respected preventative and intervention tool after completing this session!

Ellen Pritchard Dodge, M.ED, CCC-SLP, is a nationally known expert in character education and classroom communication skills. Ellen has written and published several books and articles, as well as delivered over 400 seminars for parents and educators. Ellen is a sought-after speaker due to her dynamic workshop style, effective communication tactics, and commitment for developing children’s social and emotional intelligence. Ellen has substantial teaching experience in Northern California public schools, where her communication program received a National Character Education award. Through Supporting Our Sons, Ellen teamed with Dr. William Pollack, author of Real Males, to design classrooms that are both intellectually and socially stimulating for boys.
