Lieutenant Colonel Erica Hill graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2002 and worked for two years as a personnel officer. She earned her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and her residency in internal medicine at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio in 2011. Dr. Hill finished his rheumatology fellowship at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) in 2013 and was awarded the American College of Rheumatology Distinguished Fellow Award. She’s been with SAMMC since 2013. She was sent to Iraq in 2004 and Afghanistan in 2005. (2015). Dr. Hill holds certifications in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is presently the SAMMC rheumatology fellowship Program Director.
