Ethan Benda and the Diamond Protocol
Give us 12 weeks, and we’ll give you the strength and endurance to outlast all of your opponents, including those younger athletic freaks.
43-Year-Old BJJ Fitness Genius Creates Magic Bullet System… Incorporates BJJ-Specific Cardio & Strength Training, Diet, and Tournament-Geared Weight Loss Formula – All Rolled Into One Killer Program That Will Put You On Top.
Ethan Benda is a 43-year-old man who practices BJJ after work, just like you.
The only difference is that he never tires. He’s sweating, but he’s coming every minute, every round. Then he sticks behind to perform a few rolls until all of the young monsters have gone home. That’s just not something the elderly guys do.
Ethan is more than just a competitor; he’s also a trainer, and the people he works with aren’t either. He has trained several professional athletes, including UFC fights, Bellator fighters, and innumerable BJJ contenders. Ethan really like MASTERS COMPETITORS because he gets amazing results from older men.
What Is His Technique?
Ethan works with each athlete to achieve a specific goal. He understands the grappling game through and out as a distinguished purple belt with a ton of no gi experience (19 years of no gi). He emphasizes that BJJ athletes must have continuous strength in order to continue working hard for a 5-7 minute session. He wants you to be as strong in the final minute of your last roll as you are when you first slap hands.
A Novel Approach…
He has devised a one-of-a-kind way for accomplishing this accomplishment. Weightlifting alone will not enough, nor will treadmill running.
Ethan’s approach mixes resistance training (all body-weight exercises or light weights) and cardio in a precise series of intervals that increases over a 12-week period.
The exercises are as follows:
Fun… Not Hurting You… Diamond Shaped Huh?
You begin your diamond with one set of one exercise (the air squat for 20 repetitions), then move on to the next set of two exercises, then four – all the way up to six – then five, four, and one.
Ethan discusses all of the details that create the difference between success and failure in the e-book and on the Diamond Protocol DVD.
The Other Secret Weapon Is Nutrition
Ethan’s second hidden weapon is nutrition. His straightforward and perhaps unconventional worldview will not leave you feeling starved or weak. He urges you to consume bread and carbohydrates.
(All of today’s best-selling diet books advise you to consume only protein and fat – try it and see how you feel halfway through your first roll – good luck!).
He wants you to cheat twice a week, not just once, and he drinks root beer every day, can’t you tell?
Don’t get us wrong: you won’t be eating cheese fries all day. Instead, you’ll be eating excellent, balanced meals that are simple to prepare or order and won’t make you “the man on a diet” when you go out with friends. You should be at, or very close to, your ideal weight in 12 weeks.
Weight Loss…
Ethan has extensive experience cutting men and women for UFC and Bellator bouts, bodybuilding competitions, and BJJ tournaments. Each event is unique.
When Ethan prepares individuals for a bodybuilding competition, he dehydrates them and sends them to a sauna to dry off. He offers them a bag of Skittles 5 minutes before they go onstage because he knows the sugar immediately enters the system, improving vascularity – displaying veins and making them seem more ripped: tricks of the trade!
When he trims individuals for an MMA bout, he does so in a very exact way (using a 35-page PowerPoint presentation that comes with this package) that shows the projected percentage of performance per percentage of water weight dropped. He may be rather harsh when it comes to reducing an athlete’s weight before an MMA bout. But not too so, because they will have more than 24 hours to rehydrate. Too many combatants inflict unneeded harm on their organs.
In a BJJ event, you weigh in 5 minutes before your fight – Ethan has a method for that as well. It entails losing most of the weight before the event, but if you are 5 pounds or less overweight on tournament day, he can also assist you. He understands how IBJJFs (and other smaller organizations) weigh ins operate and how to effectively hack them, having fought several times.
You have to watch this; it’s incredible.
