Many of my classmates suffered since their CMT treatment methods were mostly focused on the neck. Other body asymmetries were unaffected, leaving young patients with little improvement. Small results were preferable to none, but I knew they were capable of more. The trouble was that they didn’t know how.
With years of expertise in neurological, orthopedic, and pediatric physical therapy, I understood there was more to the torticollis condition than just the neck position. Everything changed after the 7 body structure exam! You will be able to do the following using this evidence-based protocol:
Neck muscles should be strengthened.
Encourage improved head posture.
Enhance your fine and gross motor development.
In this brand-new online course, I’ll teach you exactly how I address each case of CMT, from in-depth assessments to the most recent clinical practice recommendations. Examining and Treating Congenital Muscular Torticollis: Looking Beyond the Neck for Better Results
After working in pediatric settings for over 20 years, I developed this step-by-step course to convey this revolutionary understanding and help you assess and manage your young patients. You’ll learn about alternate ways and tried-and-true therapeutic strategies that progressively stretch and strengthen muscles to repair CMT without causing discomfort in your patients.
You’ll also be able to assuage parents’ concerns by including a family education component that extends your therapy beyond your patient’s sessions. When you find the effective interventions you’ll learn in this session, you’ll feel more secure in your approach!
