Sharon Saline, PsyD, a certified clinical psychologist in private practice, is a leading authority on the effects of ADHD, learning difficulties, and mental health concerns on children, teenagers, and families. Dr. Saline has considerable experience working with schools to address mental health concerns in the classroom, interpret psychological exams, and improve teacher/parent communication. Her unique viewpoint as the sibling of a kid who struggled with untreated ADHD, along with decades of academic distinction and professional expertise, aids her in navigating families through the complex maze of diagnosis and conflict to effective therapies and relationships.
Dr. Saline’s experience is channeled into her book, What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew: Working Together to Empower Kids for School and Life Success. Her book has been hailed as an excellent resource, and it has won two awards: Best Book Awards from American Book Fest and a Gold Medal from Moms’ Choice Awards. His areas of expertise include teenage anxiety/depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and divorced/blended family adjustment. Dr. O’Brien employs an integrative-systems approach to treatment that is tailored to the developmental requirements of kids and families. His therapy approach includes intensive parent consultation and youth-focused family interventions.
Dr. O’Brien has experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health, psychiatric, inpatient/residential, drug misuse, and medical facilities.
