This course covers the learning of over 100 AutoCAD commands, as well as exercises and demonstrations. Following the explanation of 2D commands, an application on a project will be created to solidify the ideas and commands learned.

The course plan will be divided into three sections:

1. introductory paragraph

2- 2D designs and commands

3rd Project

The Introduction will provide general information on the interface, units, and selection methods.

The second section, which is the course’s heart, will provide a detailed explanation of over 100 choices and commands provided by Autocad. This section will mostly provide an explanation of:

1- Basic drawing commands (lines, rectangles, arcs, polygons, cercles, hatches, pedit, pline, copy, move, dynamic input, polar tracking, fillet, offset, trim, extend, stretch, break, join, text, Mtext, boundary, Ray, xline, fence, chamfer, groups, blend, purge, grips, dynamic block, and so on…).

2- Explications of layers and their properties

3- Explanation of the blocks and their attributes

Leaders in four dimensions

5th, the ‘design center’

6- Page Configuration Manager

7- Les modèles

8- The “paper space”

9- Viewports and Layouts

The third section will focus on a project application in which a wide range of previously explained commands will be used. This section will also provide further explanations for new commands and options that will round out the second section.

The command terms in this course are in English to facilitate learning of English alternatives and to connect with French names.
