What you’ll discover
For qualitative data analysis, use NVivo 12.
Investigate the data, take notes, and connect your findings to other aspects of the project.
Sort your data into folders, sets, and cases.
Make Mind Maps that represent your assumptions, observations, and expectations.
Compare examples based on traits and values (for example, did men and women express comparable opinions?)
Coding the data and developing a thematic framework
Use coding queries to do professional data analysis.
Create Project Maps and Concept Maps to explore and visualize project links.
CONSIDER yourself as a professional qualitative researcher!
This training will be both informative and fun whether you are entirely new to NVivo or have some prior familiarity with it.
I am a professional researcher, research consultant, and academic educator, and I will teach you complicated principles in a clear and approachable manner in this course, and I will ensure that when you finish it:
You will be able to use a wide range of NVivo functionalities, from simple note-taking, sorting, and coding to more advanced data queries (for more information, see the “What you’ll learn” section above).
You will discover how NVivo can assist you in taking your data analysis to the next level. You will have a solid knowledge of how to augment your data analysis and how to utilize NVivo to accomplish so.
The depth of your analysis will impress your bosses, professors, employers, or coworkers.
The nicest part about this course is that all of the courses are logically related – the analytic concepts that come early in the course when we record our initial thoughts will be evaluated later when we learn to code and do various coding inquiries. I don’t just tell you how to run a query without first describing what it is, how it will benefit us, and why we may want to run it in the first place!
In fact, this is what my students seem to enjoy the most about my courses: the way I explain things, how the lessons are organized, and how I encourage my students throughout (I am very responsive to messages and always do my best to assist each student personally).
I hope you will enroll in this course, and that we will soon be embarking on this wonderful analytic trip together!
