Gene Ang – Death, Dying, & Afterlife Intensive
Participants in this course will learn about and explore those states of awareness that occur during the dying and afterlife periods. Participants will discover the areas of the subtle body to focus on throughout the dying phase in order to make the healthiest possible transition, drawing on significant knowledge from diverse spiritual and shamanic traditions (transference of consciousness). Participants will also learn how to do this for those who are dying or have recently died in order to assist them during and after this transition phase.
The second half of the course will focus on the places of awareness that one inhabits after leaving the physical body. This is referred to as the soul’s destiny in shamanic cultures. Participants will learn how to guide the departed to these secure levels of awareness in order for them to continue on their life’s path (soul conduction/psychopomp). The sole need is a genuine desire to serve and be kind.
-Learn about and experience the planes of awareness to which you will travel after leaving your physical body.
-Learn a framework for understanding the various states of consciousness we encounter in life, death, the afterlife, and rebirth (the bardos)
-Learn and practice guiding people who have departed but are still lost into appropriate inner places to continue their soul’s journey (soul conduction)
-Acquaint yourself with the meditations and energy structures in your subtle bodies that are engaged in the death process.
-Learn and practice contemplative ways to direct your awareness to higher worlds through meditation.
-Learn how to use meditation techniques to aid people who are passing or have recently departed to higher places.
-Learn and practice the procedures that lead to your next rebirth or inner world navigation after death.
-Learn how to employ meditation to prepare for death, dying, the afterlife, and rebirth.
-Learn how to utilize sleep to prepare for death, dying, and the afterlife.
There are no requirements. Some shamanic travelling experience is advantageous.
Please bring a yoga mat, cushions, blankets, a meditation cushion, a notepad, pens/pencil, and an eye covering if desired.
