Golf:: Jim McLean – The-8-Step-Swing
In this video, Jim McLean demonstrates how to execute an eight-step swing. The swing begins at the “address” or universal position. The first stage is to consistently move the club three feet away from the ball. Position two involves repositioning the club halfway back along the target line. When your elbows are level and the shaft of the club is pointed towards the plane line, you are in position three of a three-quarter golf swing. Position four is getting ready to swing forward. Swinging into the half swing posture is position five. The impact of hitting the ball is represented by position six, and all weight should be in the left leg. Position seven is halfway through the swing’s follow through. The eighth place is the final position.
