This video will go through how ACI 562-16 regulations are employed in the evaluation and repair of parking facilities. It will walk participants through a typical garage project, starting with Design Example 1 from the Guide to the Use of ACI 562. Evaluation and design concerns in relation to the Repair Code, as well as QA/QC and the Engineers’ Role throughout construction, will be covered.

The presentation was captured on Friday, November 11, 2016 during a Special Technical Session on the ACI 562 Repair Code and Joint ACI/ICRI Repair Code Guide.
Pat Martin, P.E., InterPark, LLC’s Director of Project Management, was previously Carl Walker, Inc.’s Senior Vice President in charge of the Restoration Engineering Group. He has over 15 years of restoration expertise, with a focus on the evaluation and repair of parking structures, plazas, building facades, and other concrete structures. Mr. Martin graduated from Illinois Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and is a certified professional engineer in ten states. He is a member of ACI 562’s subcommittee and the former President of the ICRI Chicago Chapter.
