I’ve been fortunate enough to sell over a hundred million dollars’ worth of things online in the last five years or so. (This is for my companies and clientele. I don’t have $100 million in my bank account.)
Email has had a significant impact in this figure. Email is something I enjoy doing. Thousands of emails have been written by me.
And in that time, I’ve discovered that five emails outperform the hundreds I’ve written.
So I did something out of the ordinary. I created templates for the five email kinds. Fill in the blanks and then send them out. My estimation is that it will take roughly 3-5 minutes each email. In my opinion, it’s quite simple and quick.
There’s a reason behind this. (Obviously.) I’m kicking off an Emails of the Month Club. Every month, I’ll send you 5 new templates (at least).
What’s the greatest approach to get you started?
I’ll send you some of the greatest emails I’ve ever written. You put them to the test. You cause it to rain. You continue to give me money each month to purchase new layouts.
So I went above and above my typical efforts to ensure that these templates are completely legitimate. If you know me, you know I’m a “better done than perfect” kind of person. One person even referred to me as the world’s laziest copywriter.
This is not the case with these templates. There’s a reason I waited so long to publish these. I put a lot of thought into designing them something that will earn you a lot of warm soft dolla dollars.
Now, on to these five emails…
They’re all quite different…and tremendously profitable. They are as follows:
The email titled “How to Push a Boulder”
The “respond email”
The email titled “How to Eat an Elephant”
Did you contact me?
The final query
After literally thousands of different emails were tested…
I discovered five that earned more money than anything else. It made no difference in which niche I employed them… They worked again and again with only a few changes.
For example, I utilized an email template called “the ultimate inquiry” for a customer in the survival industry. They paid me $1500 to write it, and it received four times the number of hits as their best email! (I received an additional $5,000 for beating their email deadline, which was wonderful.)
I utilized the “respond email” to grow my LionHeart Workshops business to a seven-figure income in only three months.
The “did you call me?” email is the single most effective promotional email I’ve ever sent. (It routinely contributed over $10,000 to my water filtration promotion sequences.)
The “how to eat an elephant email” is a simple email that anybody can use to persuade someone to eat an elephant. It’s ideal for folks who are on the verge of purchasing… but only need a gentle shove to make a choice.
And what about the “how to push a boulder” email? That is, without a doubt, the greatest performing email I’ve ever used. It fully dominated the credit repair market… You can also use it in yours.
Some of them are more appropriate for information goods. Some are better suited to e-commerce.
These templates will work for you whether you write for physical things, high-ticket services, information products, or just wish to gain clients as a freelancer.
Sending only ONE of these to your list, a prospective client’s list, or your client’s list should be enough to cover your costs.
In truth, this is what occurred to my (admittedly little insane) buddy Jerry West:
Jerry West has this to say about the templates:
“So I purchased Ian’s templates, which I figured were going to be pure rubbish, but Ian was amusing as fuck, so I felt some remorse and bought them. You know, support the struggling comic or anything. So I buy them, but I don’t open them. Because, you know. Then I’m under pressure to write some content for a product we offer on Amazon. They required it within 40 minutes. Fuck. I recalled the templates. I grabbed one and began filling in the gaps. I copied it into MailChimp and sent it.
Within 48 hours, I had made over $80,000 in sales. Oh my god. The struggling comic book artist is a freaking genius. To ensure it wasn’t a fluke, we sent another email on another campaign using another of Ian’s templates, and the conversion was three times higher than our already robust conversion.
I’m convinced. Ian understands what he’s talking about. Purchase his trash. You should rock your shit.
-Jerry
First email: The Boulder
This is a “correlation email,” as I call it. In the beginning, it presents an interesting and helpful story… This is followed by a sale.
This is the email that generated the most revenue for the credit repair list of 1.2 million individuals for which I used to write.
You don’t even have to compose it yourself. Simply fill in the spaces and watch what happens.
Email number two: the “Reply Email”
I utilized variants of this email to develop a seven-figure business (LionHeart Workshops) in less than three months…all from a list of fewer than 3,000 individuals.
If you’re offering high-ticket courses, services, or freelancing, these perform AMAZINGLY well.
It’s a really effective approach to employ “conversational selling.”
It’s so easy you won’t believe it works…until you try it.
Email No. 3: “How to Eat an Elephant”
Do you know how to devour an elephant? Take one mouthful at a time.
Almost everyone has heard the tale. But I transformed it into another effective “correlation email” for you to utilize.
This would be ideal at the end of a sales process. Or simply to provide folks with the “kick in the pants” they require to get them off the fence.
Email number four: “Did you call me?” Email
This is the single most effective sales email I’ve ever sent. I discovered it nearly by chance while selling water filters.
I tested a few various subject lines, and this one ended up being the best of them all.
Best of all, you can use it whether or not your company makes phone calls. I tried it again with simply emails and it worked just as well.
This is quite effective…
But don’t use it too frequently or you’ll ruin your connection with your list.
But this was our most dependable email when we needed to pump some cash into our water filter business.
If you offer tangible items, it’s akin to deception.
Email 5: The Big Question
If you want to attract a lot of clicks, this is one of the best emails you can send.
It’s not necessarily ideal for pre-selling…
However, the number of clicks compensates for this. We’re talking about four times the clicks of most other emails.
It’s the equivalent of flipping the “nuclear bomb” switch on your click through rate.
This email is used on a regular basis to get a large number of individuals to click to a website I want them to see.
It’s effective in every industry I’ve worked in.
The best part is that it will just take you around 3 minutes to fill in the blanks and send it off.
Here’s What This Newbie Marketer
Said About the Templates
Ron McKie said: I just wanted to share a small win with the group. I’ve been using the lessons I’ve learned so far in the “5-Figure Launches From Tiny Email Lists” bonus webinar to launch a small course to my list of 1600. So far I’ve made close to 4,000 dollars, and the launch ends on Sunday. So I could make more.
That was posted in the CopyHour group. “5-Figure Launches From Tiny Email Lists” bonus webinar is something Derek and I recorded based on the first launch I did with his list.
Ron is a football coach who had never sold anything online. He sold a product to other football coaches. So I think it’s pretty safe to say that these templates work in any niche…no matter what your experience level is.
So How Do You Actually Get These Templates?
Well, I’m glad you asked…
See, I’m actually gonna give you these templates. All you have to do is join my Emails of the Month Club where I’ll send you 5 brand new email templates every month.
You’ll receive these first 5 templates immediately.
Then, the first day of each month will basically feel like Christmas morning when I send you 5 new ones.
It’ll feel like I’m sending you money…except better. Cuz I’m sending you email assets that can make you money over and over again…like forever. That’s what’s so great about email. One great email can literally make you money forever in an autoresponder.
Especially when I’ve already written and TESTED these emails for you. That’s one the biggest differences between what I do and what most “marketers” do. They just send you products to make money. I actually TEST these things. I make mistakes. I write emails that don’t “crush it.” I mean it’s rare but happens 😉
I’ll make the mistakes on my dime…
Then each month I’ll take the best emails I’m using and I’ll turn ’em into templates for you.
5 emails a month would cost you $7500 a month if I wrote them for your business.
If I wrote each of these emails for you you’d have to pay me a MINIMUM of $1500 each (If I still did freelancing) and you’d have to buy a package of 10 emails to get that rate. That’s not some hype-y sales tactic, I simply rarely freelance anymore.
However you can get access to all of these templates right now.
And then you’ll get your 5 new emails every month for just $57 a month. That’s less than $12 per email. Which is 1/125th of what you’d have to pay if I wrote them for you.
You literally just have to fill in the blanks with your product name, market, and solutions and you’re ready to send.
You can “write” all 5 of these emails in less than half an hour and have one out to your list and making money within the hour.
So just click the button below now and by this time tomorrow you can send me a testimonial of how happy you are with your templates 🙂
You’ll get the first 5 emails immediately and then the next 5 at the start of the next month.
